Laros, named to the Ray Guy Award Watch List in 2025, previuosly played for the Charlotte 49ers (2021-2022), UT Martin Skyhawks (2023), and the Kentucky Wildcats (2024-2025). He was also selected first overall in the 2026 Canadian Football League Global Draft.

The Steelers now have two punters on their roster: 34-year old veteran Cameron Johnston and Laros, potentially setting up for an exciting positional battle to keep a close eye on over the next several months.
