Social media critic and businessman Isaac Fayose has reacted to the attack on the African Action Congress, AAC, presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore in Ado-Ekiti.
In a video posted on his verified Facebook page on Friday, Fayose condemned the brutal attack on Sowore and urged him to unite with other opposition figures.
According to him, Sowore cannot fight the system alone and needs to join forces with Peter Obi and other opposition leaders ahead of the 2027 general election.
He said the attack in Ado-Ekiti was a warning that opposition figures are not safe and must come together to challenge the government.
“Sowore, you can’t fight alone. You need to unite with Peter Obi and other opposition figures. What happened to you in Ekiti can happen to anyone. This government does not want opposition,” Fayose said.
He also called on security agencies to flush out the attackers and bring them to justice.
DAILY POST recalls that Sowore had accused the Ekiti State Police Command and the Department of State Services, DSS, of seizing CCTV footage that captured his attack in Ado-Ekiti, alleging a cover-up to shield those responsible.
