Playing in its home opener after scoring a one-goal win over No. 22 Wisconsin last week, No. 6 TCU drew UTSA in nonconference action Sunday evening. Mackenzie Hilderman and Kamdyn Fuller scored goals, while Fuller, Eres Frefield, Bella Diorio and Emma Yolinsky each notched assists for the Horned Frogs (1-0-1). TCU outshot UTSA 20-7 and 8-2 in shots on goal. Both teams had four corners and the Roadrunners made six saves.

Shortly after Frefield booted a free kick in the 40th minute, Hilderman cashed in to give the Horned Frogs a one-goal advantage. UTSA answered, however, scoring in the 54th and 57th minutes to put TCU behind for the first time this season. The Horned Frogs brought themselves back to even when Fuller converted a Diorio corner, that Yolinsky headed toward the net, in the 82nd minute. A total of 1,225 fans were in attendance Sunday night.
