Philadelphia 76ers star Tyrese Maxey will play a big role in whatever success the 2026-27 season brings to the franchise. While the front office did its job by bringing in stars Jaylen Brown and LeBron James to get the job done, it will be on Maxey to lead the way as this is his team at the end of the day.
Maxey averaged 28.3 points in the 2025-26 season on his way to being named an All-Star for the second time in his career. He will be looking to take an even bigger leap in the upcoming season in order to help the Sixers take that next step forward and reach the mountaintop in the NBA.
The summer of 2026 has been eventful for Maxey. He has been in the gym preparing for the upcoming season, building chemistry with his new teammates, and hanging out with his daughter, Marvel. He posted a photo dump on his Instagram of the summer he’s been having.
