Sabah reaction: „An important win for the team“

Ole Book (in the mixed zone): “When you make such a long journey – and not just us, but the fans too – we’re all the happier to come away with the three points, which were also very important after the defeat in Norway. Of course, it feels good to win again after three games without a victory. We certainly could have done with being more clinical today. On the other hand, we took a clear step forward in terms of our football.”

Niko Kovac (on DAZN): “We played really well going forward today and created a lot of chances. If we’d taken just half of them, we’d certainly have won by three or four goals. We made the odd little mistake, which let our opponents back into the game. It was hard work, but thoroughly deserved.”

Serhou Guirassy (on DAZN): “Of course I’m happy with the win because it was so important for the team. The last two games were difficult, so it was vital to win today. And that’s exactly what we did. Congratulations to the whole team, and thanks to the fans for their support too. But we missed quite a few chances. If we can all be consistent, I think we can achieve a lot this season.”

(in the mixed zone): “We created a lot of chances. Compared with last week, I think we played really well today – in terms of the chances and the way we played. But yes, we need to put the game to bed. We should have scored a lot more goals.”

Gregor Kobel (on DAZN): “In the end, it was harder than it needed to be. We could have scored another goal or two earlier on to make things a little more comfortable. We created a huge number of chances, certainly the most we’ve had in recent weeks, so that was very positive. Ultimately, it’s a bit of a shame that we didn’t manage to put the game to bed earlier and settle things down a little.”Recorded by Boris Rupert
