Roma to wear special jersey against Fenerbahce with World Food Programme
Roma will wear a very special jersey for their Champions League trip to Fenerbahce, as the main sponsor will be charity World Food Programme and their campaign to help the victims of floods in Nepal.
It kicks off at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium in Istanbul on Thursday at 17.45 UK time (18.45 CEST).
This marks the return of the Giallorossi to Champions League football after a seven-year absence, while it has been 18 years since Fenerbahce last participated in the group phase of the tournament.
It has been confirmed that Roma will unveil a new special edition of their first team jersey for the occasion.

The main sponsors on the chest will be the UN’s World Food Programme and their ‘Together for Nepal’ appeal to raise funds and help the victims of devastating floods in the country.
It is particularly fitting, as there is a minute’s silence before all Champions League fixtures this week in honour of those who lost their lives in that natural disaster.

The death toll in Nepal has reached 1,356 at the last estimate, but another 4,900 people are still missing.
