Rockets get bad news from insider surrounding Jaylen Brown's availability

Unfortunately for Houston, Brown will be difficult to pry away from the team that drafted him No. 3 overall in 2016. According to NBA insider Brian Windhorst, he hasn’t heard Brown’s name in trade talks. “I’m just going to tell you that I haven’t heard any material, true discussions,” said Windhorst.

The ESPN insider went on to say, “Maybe someone has called on Jaylen Brown, but I haven’t heard one iota about Jaylen Brown being truly available or Derrick White being available.”

If Brown isn’t made available by Boston, Houston may have to consider shifting their focus to another star or making incremental improvements around the core of Kevin Durant, Alperen Sengun and Amen Thompson.
