Rochdale have signed former MK Dons defender Laurence Maguire on a two-year deal.
The 29-year-old, the younger brother of Manchester United defender Harry, made 37 league appearances across two seasons with the Dons and was released earlier this summer.
He could make his competitive debut for Dale when they visit Tranmere Rovers in a preliminary EFL Cup tie on Saturday, 1 August.
“His mentality is second to none, he helps to drive the group and is an amazing person,” head coach Ian Watson, who worked with Maguire at MK Dons, told the club website.
