Real Madrid have provided the latest injury update on forward, Kylian Mbappe.
Mbappe recently left the France camp due to injury ahead of their Nations League clash with Belgium on Monday.
The France captain sustained a tendon injury in his left knee during the encounter in Kocaeli, as Les Bleus won 1-0 in Turkey on Friday.
Providing an update on Mbappe, Real Madrid confirmed in a statement on their website that the 27-year-old had been diagnosed with a “hyperextension of the posterior capsule of his left knee” after undergoing tests.
Mbappe will now hope to recover in time for Real Madrid’s next match against Villarreal in LaLiga after the international break.
