Real Madrid played a near-perfect game to secure a 2-1 victory over Barcelona at the Spotify Camp Nou.
It was followed by a light-hearted moment involving Kylian Mbappe and Yan Diomande, offering a glimpse of the growing chemistry between the two attackers.
In an interaction after the match, the French superstar and the young winger exchanged playful remarks that quickly drew attention.
Mbappe and Diomande share a funny moment
The moment suggested that the duo are developing a strong relationship away from the pitch.
“He is my wolf,” Mbappe said while referring to Diomande.
The youngster responded with an equally amusing comment: “He is my little brother.”
The exchange was brief, but it captured the relaxed atmosphere surrounding Madrid’s players after securing an important victory against their biggest rivals.
Both attackers have become important figures in Jose Mourinho’s plans, bringing different qualities to the team’s forward line.
Mbappe provides experience, movement and a proven goalscoring threat, as evidenced by his brace against Barcelona.
Diomande, on the other hand, hugs the left touchline and offers direct running, dribbling, pace and the ability to cause chaos.
The duo seem to be developing an excellent understanding on the pitch in the absence of Vinicius Junior.
A promising partnership for Mourinho
Beyond the humour, the interaction offers an encouraging sign of the relationship between a player who has been at the club for a while and a newcomer.
For younger footballers, settling into a demanding dressing room can be challenging, particularly at a club where expectations are consistently high.

Having an established superstar like Mbappe put his arm around a teammate’s shoulder can help create a positive environment.
It is still early days, but the two Los Blancos attackers seem to be getting along quite nicely, both on and off the pitch.
In the victory over Barcelona, the entire team played for one another and looked determined to secure the three points.
This is the kind of spirit that Jose Mourinho keeps insisting on, and going forward, he will want to see more of this.
Ultimately, Madrid handled the occasion of the Clasico to perfection and will hope to do so in many more games going forward.
