The Seattle Seahawks pulled off an impressive 31-7 win over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday that got supporters of the team and lovers of the NFL alike roused up after the game.
The Seahawks improved to 2-0 on the season behind a historic performance from Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who recorded 155 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns in the win. Drew Lock again delivered for Seattle as the stand-in quarterback in place of Sam Darnold, and the Seahawks’ defense made several big-time plays to help the team contain the Cardinals’ offense.
Other notable contributors in the win for Seattle included Leonard Williams, who had a sack, Julian Love who had an interception, and Emanuel Wilson, who led the team in rushing with 92 yards on the game.
