Texas football cruised to victory Saturday night with a 31-1 victory over Mississippi State.
Quarterback Arch Manning was electric with his three touchdowns and completing 16 of 20 of his passes for 220 yards. While the quarterback got a lot of the attention, the scoop-and-score from DL Maraad Watson made Royal Memorial Stadium explode to help the Longhorns (6-2, 3-2 SEC) extend their lead in the first half.

But it wasn’t all great for the Burnt Orange. After leaving the Ole Miss game with an injury, Cam Coleman went into the locker room and came out in street clothes. Now, Texas turns its attention to its final month of the season which starts on the road to play Missouri.
Here is what Texas fans thought about the win over Mississippi State.
Texas football coach Steve Sarkisian said he thought Arch Manning competed his tail off. Was happy to see Manning use his legs.
