Los Angeles Rams owner Stan Kroenke is adding to his portfolio of professional sports teams. On Tuesday, Kroenke Sports & Entertainment announced it is purchasing the Los Angeles Angels from Arte Moreno and the Moreno family.
Kroenke already owns the Rams, as well as the Denver Nuggets (NBA), Colorado Avalanche (NHL), Arsenal (EPL), the Colorado Mammoth (NLL) and the Colorado Rapids (MLS). The Angels will be his first MLB team, giving him a franchise in seven different sports leagues.
Moreno bought the Angels back in 2003 for $180 million. It was not disclosed how much Kroenke purchased the team from Moreno for. The sale is expected to go through in the first quarter of 2027.
