The Rams announced that Thomas suffered a groin injury in the game against the New Orleans Saints and was ruled out by the team. He did not record a tackle before being forced to exit in the second half.

Thomas has been a preseason standout for several years in Los Angeles, and he’s trying to earn a roster spot in a crowded outside linebacker room that features Bailey, Desjuan Johnson and others.
