Rams LT Alaric Jackson won’t face criminal charges after domestic violence arrest

Los Angeles Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson will not face criminal charges after he was arrested for allegedly getting physical with his pregnant ex-girlfriend last month, according to The California Post. Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office spokesperson Ivor Pine told The California Post that prosecutors are not filing charges against Jackson “at this time,” but the case remains open and can be re-evaluated in the future if there are new developments.

The City Attorney’s Office plans to offer alternative options to Jackson to avoid him being charged with a crime. Those options could include community service, attending a class or paying restitution, according to NBC Los Angeles.

Jackson was arrested on June 8 on a domestic violence charge for allegedly getting into a physical altercation with his pregnant ex-girlfriend, which left her with bruises and scratch marks on her body. His accuser was granted a temporary restraining order, but she later dropped the request for a permanent one.

The NFL will still evaluate Jackson’s situation to determine whether he violated the personal conduct policy, which would warrant a suspension. Jackson was previously suspended two games in 2024 for his first violation of the policy.
