When the Texas football team takes on its Red River rival on Saturday, the Longhorns will almost be at full strength.
On Wednesday, Texas released its first SEC-mandated availability report ahead of this weekend’s showdown with Oklahoma in Dallas. Tight end Nick Townsend (probable), receiver Kaliq Lockett (doubtful), defensive lineman Justus Terry (doubtful) and offensive lineman Jordan Coleman (out) were the only four names that Texas listed on the report.

Senior running back Hollywood Smothers did not appear on Wednesday’s availability report. The Longhorns’ leading rusher, Smothers suited up but sat out UT’s 20-17 win at Tennessee on Sept. 26 while tending to a leg injury. Smothers transferred to Texas from North Carolina State ahead of the 2026 season and has rushed 41 times for 198 yards and two touchdowns this year.

But while the Longhorns seem relatively healthy with three days to go before the Red River Rivalry, Oklahoma is not as lucky. Oklahoma had 13 names appear on its first availability of the week:

- Doubtful: TE Trynae Washington, OL Michael Fasusi, OL Fred Hinton
- Questionable:WR Jer’Michael Carter, LB Cole Sullivan, DB Michael Boganowski, OL Eddy Pierre-Louis, TE Jack Van Dorselaer
- Probable:LB Owen Heinecke
