Manchester United have been handed an unexpected kick-off time for their Premier League trip to Crystal Palace after the latest television selections forced a change to the original schedule.
The Red Devils will now face Palace at 7pm on December 13 after TNT Sports selected the match for live coverage.
The fixture was initially expected to take place at 12.30pm on Saturday, December 12, but Palace’s European commitments have forced the change.
The Eagles will travel to Poland to face Jagiellonia Bialystok in the UEFA Europa Conference League on Thursday, December 10.
Moving the United match gives Palace more time to recover before welcoming their Premier League opponents to Selhurst Park.
Meanwhile, United are still searching for their first away win of the season after a 1-1 draw with Leeds United on Sunday.
The result will increase the pressure on the team to improve their performances on the road, with the visit to Palace providing another opportunity to secure three points.
United will also face difficult away trips to Newcastle United and Arsenal before Christmas, with both matches selected for television coverage.
Elsewhere, the North London derby between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal has been moved to a 4.30pm kick-off on December 6.
Manchester City will also feature on Sky Sports when they host Chelsea at the Etihad Stadium on December 12.
Enzo Maresca’s team maintained their perfect winning record by beating Ipswich Town on Saturday and will hope that run is still ongoing when they square off against Chelsea.
Liverpool’s trip to Chelsea has been selected by TNT Sports, while their home meeting with Tottenham is also expected to receive live television coverage through Sky Sports.
Another interesting fixture will see Aston Villa visit Chelsea on December 21.
Emiliano Martinez, Nicolas Jackson and Morgan Rogers could all face their former club, with the latter joining Chelsea in a club-record £117 million move during the summer.
However, that match could be moved forward by 24 hours if either team remains in the EFL Cup.
