Motorspots Wire predicts that Austin Hill will drive the No. 33 car for Richard Childress Racing in 2027. Hill has been the full-time substitute for Busch in the rebranded No. 33 car since the 2026 Coca-Cola 600, and he has impressed. Despite a rough start, the Richard Childress Racing driver has continued to improve.

Hill has spent several seasons in the NASCAR O’Reilly Series, and a full-time promotion to the Cup Series should be on tap. Noah Gragson would be a great fit with Richard Childress Racing, but Hill gets the nod in this prediction. With Dillon and Hill in the picture, Richard Childress Racing hopes to return to victory lane.
