Portugal coach, Jorge Jesus, has named Norway’s Erling Haaland and Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen as the two most powerful strikers in the world at the moment.
Jesus stated this at his pre-match interview, where he compared Haaland and Osimhen before Portugal’s 2-1 win against Norway in a Nations League clash at the Ullevaal Stadium in Oslo on Sunday.
The 72-year-old Portuguese, who was asked about Haaland, said, “Haaland is the most physically and technically powerful player inside the box.
“Outside the area, he is not quite as dominant, even though he is fast. But inside the box, for me, he and Osimhen are the strongest in the world.”
Haaland plays for Premier League giants Manchester City, while Osimhen plays for Galatasaray in Turkey.
Both players have been impressive for their clubs so far this season.
