A resident of the community, Henry Homsuk, told newsmen that “Residents woke up on Monday to the disturbing news of the incident.”

“It is sad that someone would be killed and his motorcycle carted away. We woke up to the news this morning, and it was disturbing,” Homsuk said.

“It is painful that somebody would lose his life in such circumstances. We are worried about what happened and hope the authorities will take the matter seriously,” he added.

” The issue has been reported to security operatives,” he added

“We appeal to the security agencies to investigate this matter thoroughly and ensure that those responsible are arrested.”

” People should be able to go about their lawful activities without fear,” Homsuk said.

“Security should be strengthened along Longvel Road and in other vulnerable communities to protect lives and property and prevent a recurrence,” he added.
