PFF: 5 highest-graded Jets players on offense in Week 8 vs. Raiders

The New York Jets put 33 points on the scoreboard Sunday, which ordinarily should be enough to give a team a reasonable chance of winning. Unfortunately, the Las Vegas Raiders had other ideas. They handed New York a 38-33 home loss, extending New York’s losing streak to three games. The defeat was another frustrating chapter in a season that has offered very few reasons for optimism.

There were individual performances worth recognizing, though, and that’s where Pro Football Focus comes into the picture. Team results tell one story, but individual grades can reveal which players performed well within their assignments, even when the overall result doesn’t cooperate. A productive afternoon doesn’t always translate into a victory, and the Jets have experienced that firsthand.

With New York now having lost six of its last seven games, finding contributors who can consistently perform at a high level is becoming increasingly important. Sunday’s offensive production offered some encouraging signs, but the final score made clear that there is still work to do.

Here are the five highest-graded Jets players on offense against the Raiders in Week 8, according to Pro Football Focus.
