The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has mourned Chief Dan Orbih, its former National Vice Chairman, South-South, after his family announced his death.
In a statement posted on the PDP’s official page on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, and signed by the party’s National Publicity Secretary of the Interim National Working Committee, Ini Ememobong, the party described Orbih’s passing as a loss to the party.
PDP Interim National Chairman, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, SAN, said Orbih made significant contributions to the party while holding different positions.
“The late Chief Dan Orbih held various positions in our great party, contributing significantly in each of those positions. We deeply mourn his death,” Turaki said.
The PDP prayed for God to grant Orbih eternal rest and give his family, friends and associates the strength to bear the loss.
