c119659377257deafff8b7643dc73339 Paul Skenes addresses Yankees rumors after Livvy Dunne’s Babe Ruth apartment bidLivvy Dunne may have tried to buy Babe Ruth’s old New York City apartment, but that doesn’t mean her boyfriend wants to play for the Yankees.

“That’s probably reading a little deeper into it than what is true. If you’re a baseball fan, you’re probably a Babe Ruth fan,” Skenes told the New York Post this week, when the Pittsburgh Pirates were in town to face the Yankees.

In 2025, Dunne, who was born in Westwood before going on to become a collegiate gymnastics star and social media influencer, reportedly made an all-cash offer of $1.6 million for the 3-bedroom Upper West Side co-op at 345 West 88th Street, but the building’s co-op board ultimately rejected her application.

Dunne later found another spot in downtown Manhattan that would allow her in.

“Better area, better apartment,” Skenes, who is earning $1,085,000 this season and is arbitration-eligible next year, told the Post.

As for hopes among the Yankees and their fans that the three-time All-Star and reigning NL Cy Young Award winner pines for the pinstripes, Skenes said it’s not the case.

He’s not on the trading block ahead of the Aug. 3 trade deadline, and the Yankees are thought to be more focused on adding a catcher and bullpen help.

“I just want to win,” he said.
