Following in the steps of his elder brother Marvin Harrison Jr. — a current Arizona Cardinal — Jett Harrison announced his commitment to Ohio State on Wednesday, July 1.
The younger Harrison is a five-star recruit and the No. 4 overall player in the 2028 recruiting cycle and the No. 2-ranked wide receiver, according to 247 Sports Composite Rankings.
The 6-foot-1, 175-pound receiver is also drawing interest from Oregon, USC and Penn State, among others. He is poised to join Jamier Brown, the No. 23 overall prospect in the 2027 class at receiver. Ohio State has garnered the moniker “WRU” for its output of receivers to the NFL over recent years.
As a freshman in 2024, Harrison was named a MaxPreps All-American after scoring 10 touchdowns and leading St. Joseph’s Prep (Philadelphia) to a PIAA 6A championship. He caught a 19-yard touchdown pass in the championship against Pittsburgh Central Catholic.
Harrison’s elder brother, Marvin, was a two-time All-American WR at Ohio State and was the No. 4 overall pick by the Cardinals in the 2024 NFL Draft. Their father, Marvin Harrison Sr., is a Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver after playing for the Indianapolis Colts from 1996 to 2008.
