NY Giants-New Orleans Saints inactives: RT Jermaine Eluemunor won’t play

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — New York Giants right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor will not be in the lineup on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.

Eluemunor suffered a calf injury last Sunday against the Washington Commanders and was replaced by Marcus Mbow. Mbow will likely start in that spot, with rookie J.C. Davis active as the swing tackle.

Left tackle Andrew Thomas (groin) and edge defender Abdul Carter (calf) will play. Both listed as questionable after being held out of practices on Wednesday and Thursday.

Reports from earlier Sunday indicated that Najee Harris will start at running back for the Giants instead of Cam Skattebo. Skattebo has fumbled four times in five games this season. Veteran running back Devin Singletary, who has been inactive in the past three games, will be active vs. the Saints. Skattebo has five fumbles in 282 touches over 13 NFL games, one every 21.7 touches. Harris has six fumbles 1,223 career touches, one every 203.8 touches.

The Giants are making a change on the defensive line. Sixth-round pick Bobby Jamison-Travis is active for the first time. C.J. Okoye, acquired via trade from the Baltimore Ravens at the beginning of the season, is inactive.

Saints’ quarterback Tyler Shough has reportedly been playing with two broken bones in his left (non-throwing) hand.
