NPFL: Rangers adopt Abeokuta as temporary home venue

Reigning Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, champions Rangers have confirmed the MKO Abiola Sports Complex, Abeokuta, as the venue for their opening fixture of the 2026-27 season.

The Flying Antelopes will do battle with Katsina United in the matchday one fixture on their adopted ground.

Rangers’ original home ground, the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, is currently undergoing renovation.

The Enugu-based club will also play their CAF Champions League matches in Abeokuta.

Rangers will be hoping to kick-start their NPFL title defence on a positive note.
