SARANAC — Luke Nurenberg ran for three touchdowns and Andrew Kriss rushed for 122 yards and a TD while helping the Pirates wrap up the outright CMAC title with their victory over Saranac (5-2, 3-2). Kevin Hafner returned an interception for a touchdown for P-W (7-0, 4-0).

DEWITT 44, HOLT 0

DeWITT — Griffin Braman completed 10-of-15 passes for 145 yard and two touchdowns and added two rushing scores for the Panthers (6-1, 4-0) in their CAAC Blue win over Holt (1-6, 0-4). Landon Kurncz added six receptions for 107 yards and and two touchdowns for DeWitt.

ITHACA 48, SAGINAW VALLEY LUTHERAN 7

The Yellowjackets broke things open with 20 points in the second quarter en route to capturing the outright TVC Blue title with their win over Valley Lutheran. Gibson Rondy finished 16-of-18 passing for 243 yards and three touchdowns and Greyson Merchant had five catches for 97 yards and two touchdowns and added a rushing score for Ithaca (7-0). Connor McMurphy added 70 yards receiving and a TD and Michael Sheler returned an interception 100 yards for a score for the Yellowjackets.

LAKEWOOD 28, LANSING CATHOLIC 16

LAKE ODESSA — Michael Goodemoot ran for 228 yards and a touchdown and added nine tackles on defense, while Max Thrun had 100 yards on the ground and three TDs for the Vikings in a CAAC White victory over Lansing Catholic. Bubby Wilkins added nine tackles and two interceptions for Lakewood (6-1, 4-1)

PORTLAND 49, EATON RAPIDS 7

Brody Crowley ran for 108 yards and a touchdown and Carson Spenski rushed for 88 yards and three scores for the Raiders in their CAAC White win over Eaton Rapids. Carson Simon completed 6-of-7 passes for 143 yards and a touchdown and Landon Espinoza added 99 yards rushing and a TD for Portland (7-0, 6-0).

OKEMOS 45, WAVERLY 12

OKEMOS — Nicholas Coleman had 16 carries for 121 yards and two touchdowns for the Wolves, who ran for 334 yards on the ground as a team in their CAAC Blue victory over Waverly (2-5, 1-3). Blake Burke threw for 120 yards and two touchdowns and Brett Burak had nine catches for 109 yards for Okemos (5-2, 3-2).

SEXTON 59, IONIA 0

Zion Mathis was 9-of-11 passing for 219 yards and four touchdowns and rushed five time for 102 yards and two scores for the J-Dubbs (4-3) in their CAAC White victory over Ionia. Willie Brown added six catches for 145 yards and two touchdowns and Jalen Maxwell had 12 carries for 113 yards and a TD for Sexton. Jamel Brown returned a fumble 22 yards for a score for the J-Dubbs.

ST. JOHNS 43, FOWLERVILLE 0

Lucas McCastle finished with 71 yards rushing and two touchdowns for the Redwings in their CAAC Red win over Fowlerville. Cody Carn, Ian Smith and Johnny Infante added rushing scores for St. Johns (5-2, 4-1).

HASLETT 65, EASTERN 18

LANSING — Tyler Fritz completed 12-of-15 passes for 192 yards and five touchdowns for the Vikings in a CAAC Red victory over Eastern (0-7, 0-5). JonQuavion Thomas contributed 153 yards on the ground with two TDs and had four catches for 68 yards and a touchdown, while Austin Prinz had a pair of touchdown grabs for Haslett (2-5, 2-3)

OLIVET 37, CHARLOTTE 7

Caleb Frazier had touchdown runs of 24 and 41 yards and finished with 87 yards rushing and 72 yards receiving for the Eagles in a CAAC White victory over Charlotte.

MAPLE VALLEY 21, HOMER 0

Darren Carpenter had a pair of 30-yard touchdown runs for the Lions in a victory over Homer. Carpenter finished with 86 yards rushing and threw for 178 yards and a TD for Maple Valley.

SAGINAW HERITAGE 37, EAST LANSING 22

BJ Ardister passed for 138 yards and a touchdown and Wade Anthony had 10 catches for 102 yards and a score for the Trojans (2-5) in their loss to Saginaw Heritage. Baylor Schanski contributed a rushing TD for East Lansing.

HANOVER-HORTON 52, LESLIE 28

Joel Cranmore had 190 yards passing and three touchdowns and added 13 carries for 104 yards and a touchdown in the Blackhawks’ loss to Hanover-Horton. Carter Foster added four catches for 90 yards and a TD for Leslie.

READING 60, STOCKBRIDGE 28

Evan Killinger threw for 273 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Panthers in their Big 8 loss. Remington Christie had three catches for 81 yards and a touchdown and Vince Rogozinski had two TD catches for Stockbridge (2-5).

MONTROSE 42, OVID-ELSIE 14

Brody Howard passed for 63 yards and a touchdown and added a rushing score for the Marauders in their loss to Montrose. John Kelly had a 54-yard touchdown reception for Ovid-Elsie.

GOODRICH 49, CORUNNA 7

Hoyt McCorkle ran for 109 yards and threw a 32-yard touchdown pass to Kolton Stratton to lead the Cavaliers in their Flint Metro League loss.
