Jude Bellingham hailed Harry Kane as an “amazing role model” after the England captain equalled Peter Shilton’s caps record.
Kane scored twice in England’s 3-0 win over Czechia while winning his 125th cap.
Asked about Kane by Hayters TV, team-mate Bellingham said the striker’s continued achievements come as no surprise.
“Nothing he ever does surprises me,” Bellingham said.
“Such an amazing role model, such an amazing guy and an honour to share the pitch with him.
“Everything he gets, he deserves. He works so hard for it.”
Asked whether Kane could continue his individual achievements by winning the Ballon d’Or, Bellingham added: “Yeah, who knows? It’s definitely possible.”
Bellingham also believes England’s extended international camp has helped Thomas Tuchel’s squad build stronger relationships both on and off the pitch.
“I think because of the longer camp, we’ve had a chance to gel and bond and spend more time with each other,” he said.
“I think eventually that shows on the pitch.
“It’s sometimes tough when you only have two games to get into a flow and then you split up again.
“It’s been really lovely.”
