NNL: Udi pleased with Sunshine Stars' draw at Edel FC

Sunshine Stars head coach, Duke Udi, has shared his thoughts on his team’s stalemate against Edel FC.

The Owena Whales played out a 1-1 draw against Edel FC at the Awka Township Stadium in Awka.

Udi expressed satisfaction with the point earned away from home.

“It was a tough game,” Udi told Sunshine Stars media.

“I am happy with the point we picked up away from home. The players gave a good account of themselves, and I appreciate the management for their support and encouragement.

“We remain focused on our ambition of securing promotion, and I want to assure our supporters that we will continue to work hard to achieve that objective.

Sunshine Stars will host Remo Stars at the Akure Sports Complex in a Matchday two fixture next weekend.
