News and highlights from Day 1 of Rams training camp

The Los Angeles Rams hit the field for their first practice of training camp on Sunday, kicking things off at Loyola Marymount University.

As expected, the Rams are going to ease into things, so there were no pads for this session, but the intensity will heat up as camp rolls on. Sean McVay said Matthew Stafford won’t participate in the first or third practices of the team’s four-day blocks, so he was not on the field for this opening practice, but he’s expected to be back on Monday and Wednesday.
