New York Giants mandatory minicamp: Sights and sounds from Day 1

In another change, the Giants will run their first two practices in the prime heat of the day, before ending things with a morning practice on Wednesday.

The remaining minicamp schedule is as follows:

• Tuesday, June 9 (open to media)
• Wednesday, June 10 (open to media)

Development: Giants edge Abdul Carter had his entire left shoe and sock off, and he’s being examined by trainers. He is limping VERY gingerly off to the side.

I didn’t see it happen, but Carter got banged up during this practice. He just limped into the indoor field as practice…
