New Window to Buy LA Olympics Tickets Approaching Quickly

If you haven’t gotten your tickets for the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles yet, now is the time to act.

The next round of ticket sales is set for Aug. 10 through Aug. 20, as reported by Nick Zaccardi of NBC Sports, but you’ll need to be registered before then.

Make sure to visit the LA28 website and register before July 22, as everyone is entered into a ticket draw.

You’ll find out on Aug. 6 or 7 if you’ve qualified for the ticket draw that takes place a few days thereafter.

Or, if you’re a Visa cardholder, you can enter the presale draw from July 29 to July 31, giving you access before the general drop in August.

For that, though, you’ll still have to have registered by July 22.

There reportedly will be more of the $28 tickets available, though if it’s like the last draw, those tickets will go very quickly.

Additionally, those tickets might not be for highly sought-after events like basketball, baseball and track and field.

That said, you’ll still get to experience the Olympics firsthand for a low price, even if it’s for a more obscure event.

What if I don’t get tickets to the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles?

If you don’t get picked for tickets — or the prices are higher than you’re willing to pay — consider volunteering at the Games.

About 60,000 people will be needed to help put on the Games, and they’ll be in nine categories: Ceremonies, Communications, Driving, Experience, Medical, Operations, Sport, Technology and Volunteer eligibility.
