Nebraska hoping to add wide receiver to its 2027 recruiting class

Nebraska Football is eagerly awaiting a decision from 2027 four-star wide receiver Khalil Taylor. A recent report from Steve Wilfong suggests the Huskers are in the lead heading into the July 6 decision date.

Taylor has visited Penn State 17 times, including four times under new coach Matt Campbell. Colorado has also emerged as a favorite for Taylor as well.

The wide receiver is the 90th overall player in the 2027 class, the 17th overall wide receiver, and the fourth overall player in his class from the state of Pennsylvania, according to the Rivals Industry Rankings.

Even so, Wilfong likes the Huskers in this recruitment, indicating the program remains the favorite to land the wide receiver, who is set to announce his commitment on July 6.

Landing Taylor would be a massive victory for this class. The class itself ranks 20th overall in the country with seven blue-chip commitments, per the Rivals Industry Rankings.

The class itself has several impact players. Taylor would be another solid addition to an ever-growing class.
