Nebraska baseball announces extensions for coaching staff

Nebraska baseball announced a series of contract extensions on Wednesday afternoon. Coach Will Bolt and the entire assistant coaching staff were extended.

Bolt signed a long-term deal that will take him through the 2032 season. Assistant coaches Rob Childress, Lance Harvell, and Mike Sirianni all signed two-year deals, which will take them through 2028.

These deals come on the heels of one of the best seasons in program history. The Huskers finished with a 43-17 overall record.

They also set a school record with 23 conference victories. That helped them secure their third consecutive NCAA tournament appearance and host their first regional since 2008.

Bolt has a career record of 213-143-1, and his 213 victories rank sixth all-time in Nebraska baseball program history.

Now, they have a chance to add to that total, as the program looks to capitalize on the momentum. It will be interesting to see what they can do for a follow-up act
