The former All-Pro WR claimed he and Aaron Rodgers share similar views regarding conspiracy theories and exchanged them during the Pittsburgh Steelers’ training camp.

Rodgers and Metcalf could combine to form one of the league’s most lethal QB-WR partnerships this season, provided things go well.

However, their bonding off the field has been boosted by both of their interests in the abnormal and inexplicable occurrences of life.

DK Metcalf explains love for conspiracy theories and bonding with Aaron Rodgers

In an in-depth interview with Jonathan Jones, DK Metcalf shared how he and Aaron Rodgers bonded over their fascination and love for conspiracy theories.

He then went on to describe his belief that Antarctica is not actually part of the Earth, but part of a larger civilization beyond the surface.

“Yeah, I’m a big conspiracy theorist,” Metcalf said to The Athletic. “Shout out to my quarterback… Nah, I’ve been on it. But it just so happened that we can bond over it.

“I think there is another civilization inside of Earth… You can go to Alaska. You could go to the North Pole. But why not Antarctica? Why can’t you just book a trip to Antarctica?

“Why is there a secret meeting — well, it’s not secret, but why is there a meeting between every world leader of every country in Antarctica, specifically?”

Of course, it must be noted that Metcalf is wrong, and people can actually book trips to Antarctica from South America for certain portions of the year.

There are no commercial airports in the region, and the private airports are controlled by the government, which is presumably where Metcalf has gotten his theories about world leaders and Antarctica.

Rodgers has long had a history and a reputation as one of the league’s most eccentric figures, known for pushing or subscribing to several conspiracy theories.

However, most of Rodgers’ conspiracy theories are based on political matters and events, with his most recent one being the harm caused by the COVID-19 vaccine.
