You don’t go on the road and take care of business in the SEC without a total team effort. Even then some Bulldogs are bound to distinguish themselves above and beyond the crowd. Those undaunted Dawgs are your MVDs, the Most Valuable ”Dawgs from Georgia’s 45-17 victory over Arkansas.

Offense: Gunner Stockton. Sure, we could go with Chauncey Bowen’s, who had the first 3 touchdown game of his career. But Gunner Stockton put up numbers that can’t be ignored. He was 10 of 13 passing for 147 yards and a touchdown, and added a team-leading 97 rushing yards on 7 attempts. It was a complete effort from the Bulldogs’ signal caller, who reminded future opponents that you cannot forget what Stockton can do to beat you with his legs in the haste to prevent him from beating you through the air.

Defense: KJ Bolden. Bolden had 4 solo tackles and a pass break up, and while those aren’t eye popping numbers he was almost impossible to throw on and solid in run defense in the way the Athenians absolutely have to have him be this season.

Special teams: Peyton Woodring. Georgia didn’t have any kick return or punt return yardage. Unlike last week the ”Dawgs created no turnovers in the kicking game. But Drew Miller had a decent day punting. That being said, Woodring gets the nod this week. He hadn’t attempted a single field goal so far this season but came in and stroked a 38 yarder right through the uprights. And he remains perfect (17 of 17) on extra points. That’s the kind of consistency I can get behind.

As always we’d love to hear your nominations in the comments.
