About the MTN ICT Business Skills Training Program

The MTN ICT Business Skills Training Program is designed to equip young Nigerian entrepreneurs with technology-enabled business skills that can help them improve their operations and remain competitive.

The initiative has previously been delivered in partnership with organisations including Google, Oracle, KPMG, IBM, Digital Bridge Institute, Cisco, Meta and Microsoft.

For Cohort 8, the programme will train 3,000 female microbusiness owners from Rivers, Abia, Ogun, Kwara, Kano and Gombe States.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the 2026 programme, applicants must:

• Be a Nigerian male or female aged 18 to 35 years.
• Own and manage a small business.
• Have operated the business for no more than two years.
• Have a business located in Rivers, Abia, Ogun, Kwara, Kano or Gombe State.
• Meet any additional requirements specified during the official application process.

Training and Benefits
