ANN ARBOR — Michigan State quarterback Alessio Milivojevic and safety Devin Vaught, who were listed as questionable during the week, appear to be available for the annual rivalry game against Michigan, while Michigan tight end Hogan Hansen will be a game-time decision.
Michigan (5-3, 2-3 Big Ten) faces Michigan State (2-6, 0-5) on Saturday, Nov. 7 at Michigan Stadium for the annual in-state rivalry game and the Paul Bunyan Trophy.
Milivojevic missed the UCLA game with an undisclosed injury and was upgraded from questionable for the Michigan game on the final availability report issued by the Big Ten two hours before kickoff. Hansen, who has 128 yards on 13 catches this season, spoke to reporters on Tuesday night, Nov. 3 after practice and shared his thoughts on the rivalry game.
Michigan starting edge rushers Dom Nichols and John Henry Daley, safety Rod Moore, who did not play last weekend against Rutgers, and starting right guard Brady Norton, injured during the second half of the Rutgers game, were among a half-dozen players listed as “questionable” earlier this week but appear cleared. Center Jake Guarnera, who has been playing hurt the last few games, also appears set to play.
Michigan State lists 14 players as “out” for the game.
