Milwaukee-area businesses giving free food, drink for World Series

It’s Victory Thursday in Milwaukee, and Milwaukee Brewers fans’ spirits are high.

The World Series may be over, but the celebrations have just begun. And some Milwaukee-area businesses are offering freebies and deals to join in the jubilation.

Here’s what we know, though more deals could be coming:

Free bratwursts at Milwaukee Brat House

Before the Brewers clinched the World Series title, Milwaukee Brat House announced on social media that it would give out free brats if the Brewers won it all.

The restaurant plans to make good on that promise, offering a giveaway at the restaurant’s downtown location, 1013 N. King Drive. It hasn’t shared details about when the giveaway will take place.

Free milkshakes at Georgie Porgie’s

Georgie Porgie’s, the fast-casual diner in Oak Creek and Racine known for its burgers and frozen custard, is giving away free junior-size Brew Moon shakes all day Thursday, Oct. 29, while supplies last.

No purchase is necessary, according to the restaurant’s Facebook post.

Brew Moon is a special flavor sold for the Brewers’ postseason, featuring blue moon frozen custard, whipped cream and blue and yellow sprinkles, according to Georgie Porgie’s social media.

Free Beer Day at Tally’s Tap & Eatery

Tally’s Tap & Eatery, S31W24661 W. Sunset Drive in Waukesha, will host a Free Beer Day Monday, Nov. 2, offering free Miller Lite draft beer.

The giveaway will start at noon and continue while supplies last, according to a Facebook post.

The bar is fulfilling a promise it had on its exterior sign that reads, “If the Brewers win it all, free beer for y’all.”
