Five years after he fell to Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, Conor McGregor will look to prove he’s still one of the best fighters in the world when he takes on Max Holloway at UFC 329.

At his peak, McGregor (22-6) was a true international superstar. He became a two-division champion, brought the UFC to new heights and even faced Floyd Mayweather in a boxing match. However, he has also dealt with injuries, faced lawsuits and been accused of sexual assault multiple times.

While McGregor has faced questions about his true commitment to fighting, he has declared that he is ready to come back with a bang.

“I, for sure, love this game. It’s my every waking thought, the fight game,” McGregor said (via CBS Sports). “And look, I’m excited to come back and showcase it, showcase my love for the game.”

Holloway (27-9), a former UFC featherweight and BMF champion, has gone 2-2 in his last four fights. The hard-hitting Hawaiian will look to avenge a loss that he suffered against McGregor in 2013.
