Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be citizens and residents of a Sub-Saharan African country.
- Be eligible for admission into an approved master’s programme at McGill University.
- Have not previously completed a master’s degree.
- Demonstrate strong academic performance and leadership potential.
- Show commitment to community service and positive social impact.
- Be under 35 years of age at the time of application.
How to Apply
Interested applicants should first apply for the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program before applying for admission to McGill University. Candidates are required to attend the mandatory information session, complete the scholarship application within the application period, and submit any additional documents requested during the screening process. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited to proceed with the university admission application.
