Matthew Golden scores fourth-down TD for 7-0 Packers lead

The Packers ran nine plays from the Tampa Bay 10-yard line or inside the 10. They converted two fourth downs in those nine plays, including Matthew Golden’s 2-yard touchdown reception.

Green Bay leads the Buccaneers 7-0 with 12:54 remaining in the first half.

The Packers had a third-and-2 at the Tampa Bay 10, and MarShawn Lloyd picked up 1 yard. Tucker Kraft took the direct snap on fourth down and gained 3 yards. Chris Brooks then ran for 3 yards before back-to-back incompletions by Jordan Love.

Bucs cornerback Jacob Parrish, though, was called for defensive pass interference on the third-down throw to Golden.

With the downs reset, Brooks lost 2 yards and Lloyd 3 yards before Love’s completion to Lloyd for 4 yards to the Tampa Bay 2. That set up Golden’s fourth-down score.

Golden, who did not score last season as a rookie, has two touchdowns this season.

Kraft has three catches for 30 yards today, and Brooks has 30 yards on four carries. Love is 7-of-9 for 45 yards.
