Rightfully left furious by Mbeumo’s hugely controversial second-half goal, Sunday’s rollercoaster defeat at Old Trafford will certainly be a bitter pill for Nottingham Forest to swallow.

Nevertheless, with their Premier League status officially confirmed for another campaign last weekend as they snatched a late 1-1 stalemate at home against Newcastle, Vitor Pereira’s side did once again underline their drastic improvements under the ex-Wolves manager.
