Manchester City joins Arsenal in the race for Everton star

Manchester City are stepping up their interest in wingers, bringing them into competition with Arsenal for Everton‘s Iliman Ndiaye, who could be on the move before this transfer window closes.

The Senegalese trickster is one of the most exciting wingers in England and could do well in an Arsenal team that needs to add more quality to its wide options. The attacker wants to move to a bigger club this summer, and the Gunners are prepared to offer him the opportunity to experience that.

Ndiaye is one of the top players in the league, and Arsenal may have to act quickly if their interest is genuine. According to Ben Jacobs, City are the latest club to show interest in signing the Everton winger.

Manchester City have now asked for information about completing a deal from Ndiaye’s entourage and Everton. This suggests that their interest is developing, with the club potentially prepared to move quickly to secure his signature.

City could make their move before Arsenal complete the sale of Gabriel Martinelli, which is expected to provide the Gunners with some money to invest in their squad. That timing could prove important if Arsenal are also serious about bringing Ndiaye to the club.

City probably need Ndiaye more than Arsenal do, and they could therefore be willing to pay more for him than the Gunners would. Their greater need for a winger, combined with their growing interest, could make the competition particularly difficult for Arsenal.
