Lions add starting CB to injury report vs. Bills

The Detroit Lions (1-0) added starting cornerback D.J. Reed to its Tuesday practice report ahead of its Thursday night contest at the Buffalo Bills (1-0).

Reed was listed as a limited participant with a foot injury. The 5-foot-9, 190-pound corner was not listed on Monday’s initial practice report. Per Pro Football Focus, Reed logged 89 snaps in the Lions’ 31-30 Week 1 overtime win over the New Orleans Saints.

Reed played in and started 11 games for the Lions last season, totaling 46 tackles (37 solo), seven passes defended, a pair of interceptions and a forced fumble.

There was no change in the Lions’ other four players that are listed on the practice report. Left guard Christian Mahogany (hip) and right tackle Blake Miller (knee) did not practice, while center Juice Scruggs (knee) was a limited participant and safety Christian Izien (groin) was a full participant.
