As reported by Fabrizio Romano, RB Leipzig are interested in bringing Christopher Nkunku back on loan from AC Milan. Their proposal is on the table, but for the time being, Nkunku wants to assess his options before making a decision.
A product of the Paris Saint-Germain academy, Nkunku joined Leipzig in 2019 and spent four years there before leaving to join Chelsea. Frequently hampered by injuries, he failed to make the desired impact at Stamford Bridge, and the Blues sold him to Milan in 2025. Since then, he’s made a total of 35 appearances for the Rossoneri, scoring eight goals and contributing three assists – hardly an eye-catching output.
Still, Leipzig obviously wouldn’t mind having him back to boost their attacking ranks following the sale of Yan Diomande to Real Madrid, at least for one season. After all, he did play his best football there with 70 goals and 56 assists in 170 matches across all competitions.
