Former legendary Indianapolis Colts placekicker Adam Vinatieri has chosen his presenter for his upcoming summer enshrinement into the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2026.

It’s none other than Colts team owner and CEO Carlie Irsay-Gordon, as a tap of Vinatieri’s golden right kicking foot to her father, late former franchise team owner Jim Irsay, as well as her entire family.

It was Irsay, who was one of the driving forces that brought the already Hall of Fame bound Vinatieri, then as a New England Patriots sudden surprising free agent, to the Colts in the 2006 offseason.

The Colts were hoping that Vinatieri’s Super Bowl winning pedigree, leadership, kicking consistency, and clutchness would improve their odds of finally hoisting up an elusive Super Bowl trophy after a lot of recent playoff heartbreak.

Vinatieri instantly became one of the best free agent signings the franchise ever made.

The Colts won the Super Bowl that same season with the 34-year-old Vinatieri, who was a perfect 5 for 5 in field goal attempts—including a converted 51-yarder, in the Divisional Round against the Baltimore Ravens in hostile road and even tougher weather conditions. His 5 field goals were the Colts only points of the game, as they narrowly beat the Ravens, 15-6, and advanced to the AFC Title Game and continued their magical title run.

One First-Team NFL All-Pro honor, One Pro Bowl, 336 made field goals, and 507 converted extra points later, en route to becoming the NFL’s all-time leading scorer (2,673), and Vinatieri would kick for 14 more seasons until the ripe old age of 47-years-old in Indianapolis—kicking well until the 2019 campaign.

It’s obviously a tremendous honor for Irsay-Gordon, her sisters, and their whole family to help induct the greatest kicker all-time in NFL history.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2026 will be enshrined on August 8th at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio. The 2026 enshrinement ceremony is scheduled to start at noon.
