Caroline’s Cupcakes, the bakery in Canton, Ohio, is back with yet another prediction about LeBron James and Draymond Green’s next move.
The “Cupcake Lady” came into the spotlight in 2014 for making a bold yet correct prediction involving LeBron James’ free agency decision.
ESPN Cleveland shared a post claiming that the local bakery owner had “confirmed” LeBron James and Draymond Green are joining the Cleveland Cavaliers, with many fans immediately remembering the announcement from 2014.
Cupcake Lady has Cavaliers fans talking again
As per a tweet shared by ESPN Cleveland, Caroline’s Cupcakes aka Cupcake Lady is back with LeBron sources.
This time, the Cupcake Lady appeared to suggest that not only LeBron James but Draymond Green and Bronny James are moving to Cleveland too.
“Hey guys, I’ve got it on good authority that not only is LeBron coming back to Cleveland, but he’s bringing Bronny *and* Draymond with him,” the tweet read.
It further mentioned, “if you don’t believe me, you can Google Caroline Cupcakes + LeBron to check my credential. This ain’t my first rodeo, IYKYK.”
While there has been plenty of speculation surrounding James’ future amidst the ongoing NBA free agency, there has been no official confirmation that he is headed to Cleveland.
Why Cavaliers fans remember the Cupcake Lady
Back in 2014, Caroline’s Cupcakes in Canton, Ohio went viral after posting on Facebook that James’ return to the Cavaliers was a “done deal” days before he officially announced his decision.
The official confirmation from national media outlets made the bakery one of the biggest NBA stories of the summer.
A week after returning to Cleveland, James sent cupcakes to his neighbours to apologise for the media attention and traffic caused by his return.
The Cavaliers fans know the Cupcake Lady has been on the money before, and they would certainly be hoping for the father-son duo and Draymond Green to make their way to Cleveland.
