Manchester United were held to a 2-2 draw by Everton at the Hill Dickinson Stadium. Here are our player ratings from the game.

(A score of 6 is around average.)

Senne Lammens 4 – He looked hesitant in a few big moments and really should have done better with Everton’s equaliser. It just wasn’t good enough from him.

Diogo Dalot 5 – Consistently stretched United’s attack and took up advanced positions, eager to make an impact in the final third. Yet he was given a stern test by George, a battle that continued unabated when Jack Grealish entered the fray

Harry Maguire 6 – Dependable defensively and got his job done.

Lisandro Martinez 4 – His weak clearance proved costly for George’s goal and he will know he should have dealt with it much more convincingly.

Luke Shaw 8 – Much better than he was last weekend. Rock-solid at the back and linked up superbly with Rashford, making United’s left flank their most dangerous avenue of attack. Delivered the assist for Sesko’s strike.

Kobbie Mainoo 6.5 – He moved the ball around nicely and looked classy in possession again.

Youri Tielemans 6.5 – Another who demonstrated sound ball retention and was also alert enough to snuff out some dangerous moments from Everton. Getting better and fitter with every passing game.

Bruno Fernandes 5 – Aside from an early effort that rattled the crossbar, he offered little else. He failed to impose his usual authority on the game and was guilty of surrendering possession cheaply in perilous areas. Slightly made amends in the build-up to Sesko’s goal by delaying the ball to allow Shaw to move into a crossing position.

Bryan Mbeumo 8 – Sensational run and finish to give United the lead just moments after the restart.

Marcus Rashford 7.5 – The goal may have eluded him, but he was unquestionably United’s standout attacking threat. He gave Rohl a nightmare of a game, constantly taking him on and coming out on top more often than not. He put some great balls into the box too and Everton were probably pretty happy to see him subbed off.

Matheus Cunha 2 – Attacks consistently fizzled out at his feet, with his passing letting him down badly. He struggled to get into the rhythm of the game and compounded his poor display by missing a golden opportunity from point-blank range after some fantastic work from Rashford.

Patrick Dorgu 5 – Not much impact.

Benjamin Sesko 8.5 – Stunning headed finish to temporarily restore United’s advantage

Leny Yoro 6 – OK during the time he was on the pitch.

Andrey Santos 6 – Same as Yoro.
