Kim Kardashian’s Infamous Legal Drama Returns Despite Horrendous 6% Score

Kim Kardashian‘s legal drama returns for season 2 this week despite a 6% Rotten Tomatoes score, with three new episodes and another round of high-stakes feuds. Kardashian, best known as a reality TV star and social media personality, took a big swing by starring in a new legal drama series that was co-created by Ryan Murphy (American Horror Story) and premiered last year to underwhelming reviews. Even though it became one of the most critically panned debut seasons of television ever made, Kardashian and company are officially back with a brand new sophomore effort this week.

Kim Kardashian’s legal drama series All’s Fair returns with season 2 this week on Hulu and Disney+ despite being one of the lowest-rated series of all time on Rotten Tomatoes. All’s Fair has defied the odds with its season 2 renewal and will look to improve on its abysmally low 6% Rotten Tomatoes score this week following its 3-part premiere on Wednesday, November 4. At the time of writing, no reviews have been published on Rotten Tomatoes for All’s Fair season 2, so viewers will have to determine for themselves whether the Kardashian-led series has finally found streaming redemption.

All’s Fair’s 6% Rotten Tomatoes Score Couldn’t Stop Its Hulu Success

Similar to other Ryan Murphy-produced shows before it, All’s Fair did not require strong or even mixed reviews from critics for it to become a worldwide streaming success. All’s Fair season 1 premiered exactly one year ago with its first three episodes on November 4, 2025, and was met with harsh criticism while also skyrocketing to the top of Hulu and Disney+’s global viewership chart. The series drew in 3.2 million views within its first three days on the platform and marked Hulu’s biggest original series debut in three years at the time. The series also went viral on social media, generating millions of impressions and views, which somewhat undermined its 6% Rotten Tomatoes score.

It may be hard to believe that All’s Fair is one of Hulu’s most popular series of the 2020s. The Atlantic wrote of season 1, “I can’t call it a television show, because it isn’t one. Rather, it’s Instagram Reels at episode length, 45-minute collections of bedazzled moving images, targeted at the idly scrolling second-screen viewer.” Additionally, The Hollywood Reporter writes, “Kardashian’s performance, stiff and affectless without a single authentic note, is exactly what the writing, also stiff and affectless without a single authentic note, merits.” Still, these critics’ opinions haven’t stopped people from watching All’s Fair, which in the modern streaming age, is all that really counts.

All’s Fair Season 2 Must Keep Audiences Watching Despite The Backlash

All’s Fair season 2 now has the distinct challenge of maintaining season 1’s viewership numbers now that the initial social media frenzy has quieted down. It will be interesting to see if Murphy and his creative team have taken into account some of the universal criticism of season 1 to make a more polished project, or if they will repeat a similar approach that made All’s Fair season 1 one of the most-watched debut series on Hulu of the past decade. All’s Fair season 1 did have a decent 65% Rotten Tomatoes audience score, so the question really becomes whether critics were overly harsh with their collectively passionate backlash.

All’s Fair season 2 will continue the core conflict between Kardashian’s high-powered attorney Allura Grant and her rival, Carrington Lane (Sarah Paulson), as well as maintain tension within Grant’s own law firm between her fellow partners, Liberty Ronson (Naomi Watts) and Emerald Greene (Niecy Nash-Betts). Whether All’s Fair season 2 becomes another punching bag for critics or actually shows significant signs of improvement and redemption, it is nearly guaranteed to be one of the most-talked-about series online once again this week as it looks to reclaim its worldwide spot on Hulu and Disney+.
